The Lighthouse Base is a room. "Salt air fills your lungs. A great stone lighthouse rises above you. The door is ajar. Fog rolls in from the sea. A spiral staircase leads up."
The Keeper's Journal is in the Lighthouse Base. "A worn leather journal, damp at the edges."
The Lamp Room is above the Lighthouse Base. "The great lens dominates the room, dark and still. Through the glass you see nothing but grey fog."
The logbook is in the Lamp Room. "A thick log book, bound in oilskin."
The brass key is in the Lamp Room. "A heavy brass key, attached to a tag that reads: STORE ROOM."
The Store Room is below the Lighthouse Base. "A low-ceilinged room smelling of oil and rope. Shelves line the walls."
The oil lantern is in the Store Room. "A battered oil lantern, still functional."
Instead of examining The Keeper's Journal:
say "You read the last entry: 'The light has gone out. Something moves in the fog. I should not have answered the signal.'"
Instead of examining the logbook:
say "The final entry is dated three nights ago. The handwriting becomes erratic near the end, trailing off the page."
Instead of going below when the player does not have the brass key:
say "A padlocked door blocks the stairway down. You need a key."
Instead of going below when the player has the brass key:
say "You unlock the padlock with the brass key and descend to the store room."
